Bryan Cranston makes his triumphant return to Broadway in the critically acclaimed production of Network. Now extended until June 8th

Tony®, Olivier, Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, All The Way) makes his triumphant return to Broadway in the National Theatre’s sold-out, critically acclaimed production of Network

and has extended its run at the Belasco Theatre for a second and final time. Performances will now run through June 8th—the day before the 2019 Tony Awards ceremony. The multimedia-driven production was initially slated to run through March 17 before being extended to April 28 in the week following its official opening.

Tony and Emmy winner Bryan Cranston takes on the role of news anchor Howard Beale, the part that earned Peter Finch a posthumous Oscar for the 1976 film of the same name. Joining Cranston on stage are Tony Goldwyn as Max Schumacher, Tatiana Maslany in her Broadway debut as Diana Christensen, and Tony winner Frank Wood as Nelson Chaney.

In Lee Hall’s adaptation of Paddy Chayefsky’s Academy Award-winning film, anchorman Howard Beale (Cranston) unravels live on-screen. But when the ratings soar, the network seizes on its newfound prophet, and Howard becomes the biggest thing on TV.

Cranston won the 2018 Olivier Award for his tour-de-force performance. Tony and Olivier-winner Ivo van Hove (A View From the Bridge) directs this brilliantly innovative and electrifying production, also starring Tony Goldwyn (Scandal) and Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black). Ben Brantley of The New York Times raves, “Network thrills. It’s convulsive, immersive and still mad as hell. Network feels as pertinent to our time as it did to its own.”

Catch the must-see theatrical event of the season.
